Iren completes the acquisition of 7 real estate assets from REAM
Reggio Emilia, 24 April 2020 – Today, Iren S.p.A. has signed a purchase agreement with REAM SGR S.p.A., in order to acquire a portfolio consisting of 7 real estate assetsfor tertiary use and support to the headquarters located in Turin, Genoa, Parma and Reggio Emilia of which Iren S.p.A. has benefited,to date,thanks to rental fees.
The overall value of the transaction is 97 million euros with a zero impact on net financial debt as already accounted for, in application of the international accounting standards adopted by the Group, in the 2019 financial statements.
The aim of the buyback of our historic homes, isto optimize the real estate portfolio which will allow, in the future, savings in rental fees.
