Intrasense and MeVis sign a strategic partnership

Intrasense (FR0011179886 - ALINS), a specialist in medical imaging software solutions and Myrian® designer, and MeVis Medical Solutions AG specialized in the development of clinical applications integrating artificial intelligence, announce a global partnership in the field of lung diseases.

A unique combination of expertise serving patient care

Being the most common cancer in the world with more than 2 million cases in 2018(1) , lung cancer is a pathology for which Intrasense has been mobilized for many years. Its renowned clinical applications such as Myrian XP-Lung and Myrian XP-Lung Nodule are broadly used worldwide and the recent success of the newly created protocol dedicated to COVID-19 has again proven the expertise of the company in creating clinically relevant solutions based on cutting edge technologies.

MeVis Medical Solutions AG provides cutting edge disease-oriented software solutions for breast, lung, neuro, and liver imaging to medical professionals. MeVis' artificial intelligence aided Veolity® LungCAD automatically detects actionable lung nodules in computed tomography (CT) images. A rapid and safe radiological diagnosis is carried out thanks to a longitudinal follow-up and a quantitative volumetric assessment of lesion growth.

Creating a unique clinical value with Myrian platform integration

Thanks to Myrian platform capabilities, MeVis' AI-aided Veolity® LungCAD is seamlessly integrated into Myrian clinical workflow. This allows users to benefit from additional cutting-edge technology within Intrasense complete software suite.

The solution will be available within the first semester of 2021, the partnership is focused on the integration and marketing of the solution by Intrasense on the European market.

Thanks to this partnership, Intrasense is pursuing its strategy of enriching its own portfolio with solutions fitting radiologists' clinical needs and positioning artificial intelligence technologies to serve patients health.
