IMI announces non-executive director change

IMI plc ('IMI' or 'the Group'), the specialist engineering group, announces that Birgit Nørgaard has decided to step down as a non-executive director of IMI plc at the end of February 2020. The appointment of a new non-executive director will be announced in due course. 

Lord Smith of Kelvin, Chairman of IMI, commented:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish Birgit well for the future and express our thanks for her valuable contribution to IMI. Birgit continues to bring tremendous value as a member of the Board, which she joined IMI in 2012, and is excellent as the Chair of the Remuneration Committee."
