EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Iluka Resourced Ltd (Iluka) announces the following changes to the executive management structure of the company.

Matthew Blackwell, currently General Manager, USA, is appointed Head of Marketing, Mineral Sands. Matthew has been employed with Iluka since 2004 and takes over the responsibilities of Chris Cobb who has been in the marketing role since 2009.

Chris Cobb is appointed to the new position of Head of Alliances, New Ventures and Royalties. This role will be responsible for strategic partnership and alliances, as well as any investments in new businesses allied to mineral sands. He will also be responsible for implementation of Iluka’s long-standing strategy to create business development options based around the Mining Area C iron ore royalty.

Steve Wickham, currently General Manager, Australian Operations will be appointed Chief Operating Officer, Mineral Sands, effective in June. His role will then assume responsibility for strategic oversight of the company’s activities in the United States, as well as Australia. This move further enhances the integration and optimisation of Iluka’s operational base. Steve has been employed with Iluka since 2007.

David Robb, Managing Director, said: “The appointments reflect Iluka’s focus on the pursuit of growth, innovation and prudent risk taking in new ventures and business opportunities, while continuing to enhance Iluka’s global marketing presence and operational efficiency.”

“These changes will be associated with the evolution of the company’s capabilities in a number of areas. For example, Iluka’s marketing function will be re-organised along product lines. In this regard, Simon Hay, currently Iluka’s China Country Manager is appointed to the new role of General Manager, Zircon, with accountability for global zircon sales and marketing strategies. And an experienced senior executive, Robert Gibney, is to assume the new role of General Manager, Titanium Dioxide. Robert has over 25 years pigment industry experience, most recently holding the position of Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Chief Administrative Officer at Tronox Ltd. As with previous initiatives in the marketing and sales function, including establishment of a significant presence in China, enhanced warehousing and logistics capabilities, and closer technical interaction with customers, these steps will further focus, within specific market segments, Iluka’s global sales and marketing capabilities and service offer to customers.”
