Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Iluka Resources Limited wishes to advise that David Grant (39 years of age) has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr Grant joined Iluka in September 2003 as General Manager of Finance. Prior to this he was the Director of Business Development with Goodman Fielder Limited. He has been the acting CFO since the resignation of Mark Hughes in mid-May this year.

Mr Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of NSW and is a chartered accountant. He has extensive experience in the areas of accounting, treasury and risk management and business development gained in a range of senior roles over a 12 year period with Goodman Fielder and five vears with Touche Ross.
