Ilika plc (AIM: IKA), the advanced cleantech materials discovery company, announces that it was notified today that Jack Boyer, Chairman of the Company, purchased 30,000 ordinary shares in Ilika at 25p per share on Friday 11 January 2013.

Following this purchase, Jack Boyer's holding in ordinary shares in the Company is 394,009 ordinary shares, representing 0.86 per cent of the Company's share capital.
