Reference is made to the announcement from Badger Explorer ASA (the "Company")

on 9th January 2017 regarding the Extraordinary General Meeting.

As previously disclosed, Chairman of the Board of Directors Marcus Hansson and

close associates were allocated 20,000,000 shares in the private placement.

Prior to the private placement, Marcus Hansson and close associates owned

616,668 shares. Following completion of the private placement, Marcus Hansson

and close associates own 20,616,668, which corresponds to an ownership of 5.45%

of the outstanding shares in the Company after the private placement.
