PRESS RELEASE OF 20th JULY 2012 – RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
26 July 2012. Heineken N.V. ("HNV"), refers to the press release made by it on 20 July 2012 ("Press Release") in relation to the conditional offer ("Offer") to Fraser & Neave, Limited ("F&N") for F&N's interests in both Asia Pacific Breweries Limited ("APB") and Asia Pacific Investment Pte Ltd, and the potential mandatory takeover offer for all the shares of APB if the Offer is accepted by F&N and all the relevant conditions of the Offer are satisfied. A copy of the Press Release is enclosed with this announcement.
This announcement is issued in compliance with Rule 8.3 of the Singapore Code on Take-overs and Mergers in relation to responsibility statements. There is no change to the terms of the Offer as stated in the Press Release.
