In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R (1) (a), Hays plc (the "Company") was notified that, on 12 May 2016, Paul Venables, a Director of the Company, exercised an option over 4,090 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company at an option price of 88p per share pursuant to the Hays UK Sharesave Scheme. All shares were retained on exercise.
