Notification of Transactions of Directors

On 5 June 2013, the Company was notified by the trustees of the Hammerson Share Incentive Plan (the "SIP") that ordinary shares of 25 pence each (the "Shares") in the Company were purchased on behalf of Timon Drakesmith, an Executive Director, on 4 June 2013 under the Partnership Shares element of the SIP at a price of 505.00 pence per Share.  In accordance with the terms of the SIP, Mr Drakesmith was awarded two Matching Shares for each Partnership Share purchased.

The number of Partnership Shares purchased, Matching Shares awarded and the total holdings of Mr Drakesmith in the Company's Shares following the transactions are as follows:
