MAJOR TRANSACTION IN RESPECT OF THE ACQUISITION OF ASIA TIMES LIMITED

EXTENSION OF LONG STOP DATE AND FURTHER DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR

The Long Stop Date has been extended from 31 July 2007 to 31 August 2007.

The Company has made an application to the Stock Exchange for a further extension of time for the despatch of the Circular to no later than 2 August 2007.

References are made to the announcements of the Company dated 16 April, 7 May and 18 June 2007 (the “ Announcements ”) in relation to the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Asia Times. Capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements, unless the context herein requires otherwise.

The Board announces that ITS and the Vendor have agreed to extend the Long Stop Date from 31 July 2007 to 31 August 2007 (or such other date as may be agreed between ITS and the Vendor).

Pursuant to Rule 14.38 of the Listing Rules, the Company is required to despatch a circular (the “ Circular ”) to the Shareholders on or before 8 May 2007. As disclosed in the announcements of the Company dated 7 May and 18 June 2007, the Company has applied for extension of time to dispatch the Circular to no later than 19 July 2007. Due to additional time required for gathering information and to finalise the Circular in response to comments of the Stock Exchange on the Circular, the Company has applied to the Stock Exchange for a further extension of time for despatch of the Circular to no later than 2 August 2007.
