Background

Muz joined TCV in 2015 and focuses on investment opportunities in the software, fintech, and internet sectors. He is currently involved with investments in Ankorstore, Celonis, Cloudsmith, Employment Hero, Klarna, Mambu, Miro, Mollie, Neara, Pennylane, Redis, RELEX Solutions, Spryker, and The Pracuj Group. He was formerly involved with an investment in Retail Merchant Services (acquired by Teya). Prior to TCV, Muz was an investor with Vector Capital in San Francisco, where he focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing investments across the software, internet and security sectors. Muz started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, working with technology companies on strategic M&A transactions and financing activities. He also worked at T. Rowe Price, where he focused on technology investment opportunities in Europe.

Interests

Muz spent his early years in Dubai before moving to Lahore and eventually landing in the Bay Area, where he lived for several years before moving to Europe. Muz has a keen interest in cricket, which he continues to enjoy despite being surrounded by an office full of football and tennis fans. He also enjoys playing squash, reading, attempting to cook ethnic food, and discovering new music.

Education

Muz earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
