Resignation of Mr Tony Haggarty as Chairman and Director

Appointment of Mr Chris Ellis as Director

King Island Scheelite Limited (ASX: KIS) advises that Mr Tony Haggarty has resigned as Chairman and Director of the Company, effective from 8[th] November 2012. Mr Haggarty took this decision to reduce his corporate commitments. Mr Haggarty remains a significant shareholder of the Company. Mr Haggarty has been a long-serving KIS Director and its Board thanks him for his valuable guidance and contributions.

Mr Chris Ellis has been appointed as a Director of the Company, effective from 8[th] November 2012. Mr Ellis is also a significant shareholder of the Company and brings a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience to the Board. He is a geologist with more than 35 years of experience in exploring, evaluating and developing mining projects, principally in the coal sector.

The Directors welcome Mr Ellis to the Board and look forward to working with him to advance the Company’s business. He is currently a non-executive director of AusQuest Limited (ASX: AQD).

The Board will elect a new Chairman at its next Board meeting.
