DIRECTOR AND COMPANY SECRETARY APPOINTMENTS AND RESIGNATIONS

Bass Metals Limited (“Bass” or the “Company”)(ASX:BSM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jeffrey Marrvin as an Executive Director of the Company and David Round as CFO and Company Secretary.

The Company wishes to announce the retirement of Mr Tony Treasure from the board.. The Company wishes to thank Tony for his large contribution to the Company since 2008 and wishes him well for the future. The company also announces the resignation of Arno de Vos as CFO and Company Secretary who is pursuing other opportunities in South Africa. The company wishes him all the best for a successful future.

Jeffrey Marvin has over twenty years working with corporate management and investors to bring international minerals companies to the public markets. Jeffrey specialises in early stage mineral company investment, corporate management and business restructuring. In addition to his involvement with StratMin, Jeffrey is currently involved in minerals projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Western Europe where he focuses on coal, manganese, copper, chrome and precious metals.

David Round, the Company’s new CFO and Company Secretary is an experienced accountant with many years’ experience as an advisor to the resource sector.Amongst his roles, Mr Round was previously CFO and Company Secretary to Ironbark Zinc Ltd and Wolf Minerals Ltd, and acted in the same role in the relisting of Albidon Ltd and development of this company.

Mr Round previously worked on the listing of International Coal Ltd, with Chairman Rick Anthon, and served as Company Secretary and Finance Director for several years. He was instrumental in the company securing a number of successful joint ventures, including the company’s JV with Queensland Coal Investments Ltd (a subsidiary of Hancock Prospecting Ltd.).

Mr Round is a qualified CPA, registered tax agent and holds an MBA.
