ŁUKASZ ŚWIERŻEWSKI

He holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Warsaw and a PhD in Economics from the College of Enterprise Science, Warsaw School of Economics. He teaches post-graduate courses at the Warsaw School of Economics.

He worked for three years with PKO Bank Polski, among other things as Director of the Corporate Communication Department and Head of the Strategic Projects & Analyses Section of the Department. Previously, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Harvard Business Review Polska and Director of ICAN Research, the research branch of HBRP which specialises in Polish corporate governance practice. In 1999-2004, a journalist with Puls Biznesu with a Focus on financial markets and institutions. He has published extensively on economics and the economy.

Łukasz Świerżewski is currently Director of the Communications & Promotion Department and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance.
