ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR

Torian Resources announces that Mr Jason Hou has joined the board of the company, having been elected at the Annual General Meeting of the company earlier today. Torian welcomes Mr Hou who brings with him financial, capital raising and commercial opportunities for the long term benefit of the company and its shareholders.

Mr Hou has worked on numerous M&A transactions for listed companies including capital restructuring and capital sourcing in Australia and East-Asia. Mr Hou is a co-founder of Bligh Resources Ltd (ASX:BGH), a resources company focused in Manganese exploration in Australia that was listed on the ASX in 2011. Mr Hou is also a founding director of Mandalong Resources Limited (ASX:MDD) that was listed in December 2012.

Mr Hou joins the board consisting of Mr Nathan Taylor (Chairman), Mr Sunil Dhupelia, both of whom were also elected at the Annual General Meeting today, and Messrs Ian Johns and Peter Ashcroft.
