GlobalData today announces that it has received notification that on 8 March 2019, certain Directors of the Company exercised share options over ordinary shares in the Company ("Shares") and sold Shares on the same day, as set out in further detail in the below Notification of Dealing Forms. This exercise follows confirmation in the Company's Final Results announcement released on 25 February 2019 that the results for the year ended 31 December 2018 fulfilled the performance condition for the exercisability of 2.1 million employee share options.

To satisfy the exercise of options by Directors and other employees 1,999,583 Shares were transferred from the Company's employee benefit trust. The total voting rights in the Company remain unchanged at 118,113,869 with 190,000 Shares held in treasury.

This notification is made in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation.
