Update regarding Orogen Gold JV on Silverton

Galileo (AIM:GLR), the exploration and development mining company with copper projects in  South Africa, gold projects in  Nevada,  USA and a rare-earth project  in South Africa, notes the announcement recently made by Orogen Gold  plc ("Orogen"), its JV partner in the Silverton Gold Property  ("Silverton" or the "Property") in Nevada, setting out the proposed disposal of all its mineral exploration interests.

The Galileo shareholders will have noted Orogen's proposed new business strategy.  The Company has not received advice yet as to Orogen's intentions regarding the Silverton project but will keep its shareholders informed of developments in this regard.
