CHANGES TO SUPERVISORY BOARD FUGRO

Following the recent passing away of the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fugro N.V., Mr. Herman Scheffer, the vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Frans Cremers, has temporarily assumed the role of acting chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board has requested the former chairman, Mr. Frank Schreve, to stand as candidate for the position of chairman of the Supervisory Board till May 2013.

The Supervisory Board will propose the appointment of Mr. Schreve at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting that will be held on 14 December 2011.

Mr. Schreve has been chairman of the Supervisory Board for a long time. He retired in May 2011 when he was succeeded by Mr. Scheffer.

The Supervisory Board initiated the search procedure for a new candidate for the position of chairman.
