Director Not Standing for Re-election

On 15 July 2014, the Board of Sports Direct International plc ("Sports Direct" or "The Company") were informed that Non-Executive director Charles McCreevy will not stand for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 10 September 2014.

Dr Keith Hellawell, Non-Executive Chairman of Sports Direct said:

"Charles' skills and expertise will be greatly missed by the Company. I wish him every success in his future endeavours".

Charles McCreevy said:

"I have enjoyed my time as director and have found the whole experience enjoyable, stimulating, and fulfilling".

The Group's Preliminary Results for FY2014 will be announced on 17 July 2014.
