Director Dealing in Shares

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of microwave electronics products for the wireless telecoms infrastructure market and adjacent markets, announces that the Company has received notification that Michael Tyerman, Finance Director of Filtronic, has purchased 9,340 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 10.6 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Transaction") on 16 May 2016.

As a result of the Transaction, Michael Tyerman has an interest in 10,611 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.005 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
