Senior Management Appointments

FBD Holdings plc is pleased to announce the following appointments to the executive management team.

Chief Technology and Operations Officer

Mr. Enda Kyne has been appointed to the role of Chief Technology and Operations Officer and will join FBD on 3 Jan 2017 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland ("RCSI") where he currently holds the role of Director of IT and Technology Transformation.  Mr. Kyne holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Dublin City University.  Prior to joining RCSI, Mr. Kyne held a number of leadership roles in the technology and operations areas, including, interim Chief Information Officer with Dairygold in 2013 and Head of Operations Enablement with Bank of Ireland Group where he spent six years up to 2012.

Chief Claims Officer

Mr. Jackie Mc Mahon has been promoted to Chief Claims Officer with effect from 1 October 2016.  He joined FBD from Aviva Ireland in 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from NUI Galway and is a Chartered Management Accountant.  Mr. Mc Mahon has extensive senior management and change experience and most recently, he was responsible for ensuring successful delivery of FBD's new policy administration system (TIA) which went live at the end of June 2016.

Commenting on these announcements Ms. Fiona Muldoon, Chief Executive, said:
