Update on Merger Proposal with Catalpa

St Barbara notes yesterday’s announcements by Catalpa Resources Limited [ASX: CAH] regarding its proposed merger with Conquest Mining Limited [ASX: CQT], the separate and inter‐conditional acquisition of selected assets from Newcrest Mining Limited [ASX: NCM] and the Catalpa Board’s decision to terminate discussions with St Barbara.
