SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT BECOMES EFFECTIVE

Conquest Mining Limited (ASX: CQT) (“Conquest”) is pleased to announce that the scheme of arrangement to give effect to its merger with Catalpa Resources Limited (“the Scheme”) has become effective for the purposes of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

Unless otherwise announced by Conquest, the Scheme, and the broader transaction of which the Scheme forms part, will be implemented in accordance with the timetable set out in the announcement released by Conquest yesterday regarding the Federal Court of Australia’s approval of the Scheme.
