PROFILE OF MR G BALAJI

Mr G Balaji, aged 46, joined ESAB India Limited on 1 December 2021 as Deputy General Manager ‐ Legal to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of Mr S Venkatakrishnan, the current Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.

Mr Balaji has around 21 years of employment experience in the field of manufacturing, trading and service sectors including stints in Mitsubishi and the TVS Group.

He has worked in listed companies and handled all compliance related requirements in Indian and MNC entities in his previous roles. He has been supporting the respective Boards in compliances and good Corporate Governance practices.

In his last employment prior to joining us, he was Chief Compliance Officer cum Head Legal & Secretarial in Archean group of Companies based at Chennai. In addition to his core role, he also spearheaded ESG practices in the organization.
