On November 2, 2009, Equifax Inc. issued a press release relating to the acquisition of Rapid Reporting Verification Company, a privately-held national provider of IRS tax transcript information and social security number authentication services based in Ft. Worth, Texas. The purchase price for the acquisition was $72.5 million. A copy of the text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. The information in Exhibit 99.1 shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such filing.
