ENEL: COMMENT ON MEDIA REPORTS
Rome, June 16th, 2020 – With regard to reports appearing in the press today, Enel S.p.A. ("Enel" or the "Company") announces that at its meeting of June 10th, 2020, the Company's Board of Directors received notice of a non-binding offer submitted by Macquarie Infrastructure Real Asset ("MIRA") for the acquisition by MIRA of part or all of the 50% stake held by Enel in Open Fiber S.p.A.. On that occasion, Enel's Board of Directors acknowledged receipt of the notice and is awaiting further news concerning subsequent developments.
