Elementis plc - Change of responsibilities in Directorate

Elementis plc (ELM.L) ("Elementis" or the "Company"), the FTSE 250 Global Specialty Chemicals Company, today announces the following change to the roles and responsibilities of Directors with immediate effect. Andrew Christie, who has been a non-executive Director since 2008, will take over from Kevin Matthews as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. The latter, who was first appointed in 2005, will remain a non-executive Director of the Company.
