With reference to recent speculations in Swedish media, Electrolux has issued the following comment.

"We can confirm that Keith McLoughlin has not resigned as Electrolux President & CEO. It is normal practice that well-run public companies conduct succession planning. As previously communicated on April 8 this year, Electrolux is searching for a new head of its business area Major Appliances North America. In addition to his role as President & CEO, Keith McLoughlin currently holds interim responsibility also for the North American operations."
