Econocom finalises the acquisition of France Systèmes
Just over a month after signing an agreement to acquire France Systèmes (see the press release of 12 November 2012), Econocom has finalised the acquisition of the company's entire share capital.
Founded in 1992, France Systèmes posted revenue of €26 M in 2011, a rise of more than 60% on the previous five years, thanks to its strategic position in the high-growth businessto-business Apple equipment distribution sector. France Systèmes is the leading Authorised Apple Reseller in the field of Education and Research and is an accredited Apple Service Centre.
This transaction will strengthen Econocom's position in the distribution market in France, where the Group is already an accredited Apple partner and the market leader in the business-to-business iPad market.
Econocom thus continues the acquisition strategy in growth markets it has implemented since the beginning of 2012.
Next press release: the 2012 preliminary revenue will be published after the close of trading on 24 January 2013.
