(b) On October 17, 2016, James H. Langmead, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, EagleBank (the “Bank”), submitted notice of his retirement from all positions held with the Company and Bank, effective March 31, 2017.

The Company expects that Charles D. Levingston, the Bank’s Executive Vice President — Finance, will be appointed to succeed Mr. Langmead as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and Bank at a future meeting of the Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2017. Mr. Levingston joined the Bank in January 2012, and previously worked at The Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and Philadelphia, and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
