Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 16, 2018, General Josue Robles Jr., Director of DTE Energy Company, announced his intent to retire from the Board of Directors effective as of December 31, 2018. General Robles’ decision to retire after 15 years of service is not a result of any disagreement with management.
