Preliminary results for the first quarter of the business year 2010/2011

SALES: EUR 102.13 million
EBIT: EUR 4.81 million
INCREASED SALES, IMPROVED MARGINS

DO & CO Restaurants & Catering AG today announced its preliminary results
for the first quarter of the business year 2010/2011 (1 April 2010 to 30
June 2010) in accordance with IFRS.
In the first quarter of the business year 2010/2011 DO & CO reports total
sales of EUR 102.13 million, which represents an increase of EUR 13.80
million or 15.6 % compared with the period of the last year (PY: EUR 88.33
million).
Division Airline Catering recorded sales of EUR 75.75 million (PY: EUR
61.39 million). Sales of the division International Event Catering amount
to EUR 11.38 million (PY: EUR 11.95 million). Sales of division
Restaurants, Lounges & Hotel amount to EUR 15.00 million (PY: EUR 14.99
million).
The consolidated EBIT of the DO & CO Group for the first quarter of the
business year 2010/2011 amounts to EUR 4.81 million which represents an
increase of EUR 1.37 million compared to previous year (PY: EUR 3.44
million). EBITDA increased from EUR 7.52 million by EUR 1.46 million to EUR
8.98 million. EBIT margin rose from 3.9 % to 4.7 % and EBITDA margin rose
from 8.5 % to 8.8 %.
AIRLINE CATERING - EBITDA of division Airline Catering rose by EUR 1.31
million from EUR 5.41 million to EUR 6.72 million. EBITDA margin amounts to
8.9 % (PY: 8.8 %). EBIT grew from EUR 1.95 million to EUR 3.30 million for
an EBIT margin of 4.4 % (PY: 3.2 %).
INTERNATIONAL EVENT CATERING - EBITDA increased from EUR 0,99 million to
EUR 1.11 million in the first quarter of the business year 2010/2011. EBIT
amounts to EUR 0.85 million (PY: EUR 0.90 million). EBITDA margin amounts
to 9.8 % (PY: 8.3 %), EBIT margin amounts to 7.5 % (PY: 7.5 %).
RESTAURANTS, LOUNGES & HOTEL - EBITDA of division Restaurants, Lounges &
Hotel amounts to EUR 1.14 million (PY: EUR 1.12 million) in the first
quarter of the business year 2010/2011. EBITDA margin amounts to 7.6 % (PY:
7.5 %). EBIT increased from EUR 0.59 million to EUR 0.66 million in the
first quarter of the business year 2010/2011. EBIT margin amounts to 4.4 %
(PY: 3.9 %).
STOCK- The DO & CO stock recorded an increase of 21.8 % in the first
quarter of the business year 2010/2011, closing on 30 June 2010 at a price
of EUR 19.49. The price corresponds to market capitalization of EUR 149.23
million (taking into account the shares bought back as of the reporting
date).
Furthermore DO & CO is currently evaluating the requirements of a possible
corporate action and a possible secondary listing on the Istanbul Stock
Exchange. DO & CO is verifying in cooperation with Turkish authorities and
institutions of the Turkish capital market the regulatory framework. DO &
CO would be the first foreign company with a secondary listing on ISE
(Istanbul Stock Exchange). A decision of a definite transaction will follow
within the next weeks. In connection with these preparations the first
quarter of the business year 2010/2011 was fully audited as it is only
required for year end. Differing from previous publications, today only
preliminary key figures are published. The final results for the first
quarter of the business year 2010/2011 will be published on 31 August 2010.
