The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— SALES: + 54.1 % to EUR 48.16 million EBIT INCREASE: + 39.3 % to EUR 850,000 STRONG INTERNATIONAL GROWTH CONTINUED DO & CO Restaurants & Catering AG announces its results for the first quarter of 2006/2007 (1 April 2006 to 30 June 2006) in accordance with IFRS. This quarter DO & CO generated sales of EUR 48.16 million, a figure 54.1 % higher than the first quarter figure the previous year. Airline Catering saw sales highly increased at EUR 27.3 million following EUR 15.72 million in the previous year. This raise is mainly due to the increase of demand and frequencies of existent customers as well as the takeover of Air Berlin flights. International Event Catering sales increased due to boosted requests in national and international event catering by 40.5 % to EUR 10.72 million (previous year: EUR 7.63 million). Restaurants & Bars similarly increased sales from EUR 7.90 million (+20.2 %) to EUR 9.71 million. This increase is largely attributable to DO & CO`s gastronomic activities at the British Museum in London and to the reopening of the flagship restaurant and the first DO & CO Hotel in Vienna. The consolidated EBIT for the DO & CO Group after goodwill amortization in the first quarter of 2006/2007 rose by 39.3 %, from EUR 0.61 million to EUR 0.85 million. EBITDA amounted to EUR 2.07 million (previous year: EUR 1.77 million) for an EBITDA margin of 4.3 % (previous year: 5.7 %). AIRLINE CATERING – EBITDA for Airline Catering increased from EUR 0.10 million or 12.0 % (previous year: EUR 0.83 million) to EUR 0,93 million while EBIT increased from EUR 0.15 million to EUR 0.24 million. INTERNATIONAL EVENT CATERING – EBITDA increased by EUR 0.13 million or 19.4 % from EUR 0.67 million to EUR 0.80 million. EBIT increased by EUR 0.16 million, or 37.2 %, to EUR 0.59 million (previous year: EUR 0.43 million). The EBIT stabilized at 5.5 %. RESTAURANTS & BARS – EBITDA increased from EUR 0.07 million to EUR 0.34 million (previous year: EUR 0.27 million) while EBIT was reduced due to increased depreciation to EUR 0.02 million (previous year: 0.03 million). STOCK – The shareholders’ meeting on 29 June 2006 decided to distribute a dividend of EUR 0.50 per share.
