Lars Wittan to strengthen Deutsche Wohnen Management Board

Frankfurt/Main and Berlin, 30 September 2011. Lars Wittan (34) has been
appointed a further member of the Management Board of Deutsche Wohnen AG
for a period of three years as of 1 October 2011.

Wittan has held senior positions within the Deutsche Wohnen Group since 1
August 2007. As a member of the Management Board, he will initially be
responsible for the Accounting, Tax, Controlling and Risk Management
departments. It is intended that he will gradually succeed the current
Chief Financial Officer, Helmut Ullrich (61), whose term of office ends on
31 December 2012.
