APPOINTMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dublin, Ireland – 9 December 2019: Datalex plc (the "Company" or the "Group") (Euronext Dublin: DLE), a leading provider of digital commerce solutions to global travel retailers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike McGearty as an independent non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Welcoming today's announcement, Chairman David Hargaden, said:

He has an exceptional track record of achievement in e-commerce businesses and this experience will be invaluable to us as we look to accelerate our growth plans and drive positive and material momentum in 2020 and beyond."

Mike McGearty is the former CEO of CarTrawler and a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. Under his leadership, CarTrawler consistently recorded high double-digit year on year growth, completed two major private equity investments as well as the acquisition of the online assets of Holiday Autos from Lastminute.com. During his tenure, revenue increased from €1m to more than €200m. Prior to joining CarTrawler, Mike worked for eWare, a leading developer of CRM software which was acquired by the software accounting giant, SAGE plc. He also worked at POINT information Systems, a CRM provider, which was acquired by S1. He is Chairman of the Board at CitySwift, a high growth technology platform for Bus companies.

Mike McGearty has notified the Company that, save as disclosed herein, he does not have any details to be disclosed as required under Listing Rule 6.1.66 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules.
