Notice of Contract Execution

Zagreb, April 29th, 2016 – The Croatian consortium consisting of DIV d.o.o., Zagreb-Montaža d.o.o and Dalekovod d.d. and the contract owner HŽ Infrastruktura today officially signed off on the contract for the Dugo Selo – Križevci railway section upgrade and construction of the second track. The contract, including construction and site supervision, is worth one billion and 254 million Croatian kunas, with 85 percent of financing being provided under EU funding programmes and 15 percent publicly funded. The contract was executed by HŽ Infrastruktura COB Renata Suša and representatives of the Croatian consortium Tomislav Debeljak (DIV), Alen Čović (Zagreb-Montaža) and Alen Premužak (Dalekovod).

The activities planned within the scope of the project, in addition to the existing section upgrade, include the construction of the second track along the entire 38.2 km of the railway section. That also includes six overpasses, two of which are road routes, and reconstruction of the existing seven bridges, removal of 17 level crossings and two pedestrian crossings and the construction of 11 new overpasses, one underpass and six pedestrian underpasses, the construction of electric traction power systems, modernisation of railway signalling and safety systems and telecommunications equipment and the construction of 25 km of service roads. The commencement of construction and reconstruction of the Dugo Selo – Križevci railway is planned for the summer of 2016, and the completion is planned during the first half of 2020.
