ANNOUNCEMENT

COMPLETION OF ISSUE OF THE FIRST TRANCHE OF MEDIUM-TERM NOTES FOR THE YEAR OF 2016

Reference is made to the announcement of Sinofert Holdings Limited (the “ Company ”) dated 19 July 2016.

The Company wishes to announce that on 22 July 2016, Sinochem Fertilizer Company Limited (“ Sinochem Fertilizer ”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, completed the issue of the first tranche of the medium-term notes for the year of 2016 in an amount of RMB1 billion, with a term of three years and at a coupon rate of 3.5% per annum. The proceeds from the issue of the first tranche of the medium-term notes for the year of 2016 will be used to replenish the working capital and repayment of loans of the Company.
