Revenue recorded during the third quarter 2008 amounted to nearly 4 billion euros, up 11% compared to third quarter 2007 figures. The increase stretches throughout the Group's network: France (6%), North America (7%), Europe (27%) and the rest of the world (26%). In addition, every line of business in the Group is posting revenue on the rise (Roads 12%, Civil engineering, pipes and mains 7%, Waterproofing 20%, Safety and signing 19%), exception made for the railway activity with a roughly 9% decrease.
At the end of September 2008, consolidated revenue totaled 9.6 billion euros, up 12.9% compared to figures from September 2007. With identical exchange rates and scope of business, revenue has increased 10.7%.
Work-on-hand at the end of September amounted to 6.6 billion euros, and remained at a high level despite the 5% drop compared to the record work-on-hand at the end of September 2007.
According to currently available data, the Group is maintaining its revenue target at 12.6 billion euros for the end of December 2008.
