("Elektron" or the "Company")

Exercise of options, PDMR dealing

and Total Voting Rights

Elektron, the global technology group, announces the exercise of options by Andy Weatherstone, Chief Financial Officer, over 571,425 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of 5.25 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Options"). No new Ordinary Shares have been issued as these shares were held and have been transferred by the Elektron Technology 2012 Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") to satisfy the exercise of the Options.

Following this transaction Andy Weatherstone's total beneficial interest including those shares held in his spouse's name in the Company is 621,425 Ordinary Shares representing 0.33% of the Company's total issued share capital as at today's date. 

Following this exercise of option, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 186,100,851 Ordinary Shares with one voting right per share. In aggregate 6,801,386 Ordinary Shares held by the EBT are treated as treasury shares in the Company's consolidated balance. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 179,299,465.

The above figure of 179,299,465 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
