Directorate Change

On 10 September 2015 Elektron Technology Plc announced that Andy Weatherstone, Chief Financial Officer, had informed the Company that he wished to step down from the Board with the aim of resuming his turnaround consultancy.  It was expected that Andy would leave the Group in March 2016.

The Board is now pleased to announce that Andy has agreed to stay in his current role. Following detailed discussions it has been possible to accommodate Andy's desire to work on other projects whilst devoting the vast majority of his time to Elektron as CFO.

Keith Daley, Chairman of Elektron, said: "I am obviously delighted that Andy has agreed to stay with us. He has had a vital part to play in the progress the business has made since he joined two years ago and complements a strong management team enabling us to exploit fully the significant opportunities available to us."
