Report Content CEZ Group completes the acquisition of Gas Distribution, a companyoperating the gas distribution network in Southern Bohemia and parts ofthe Vysocina Region

CEZ Group has completed the acquisition from E.ON of a 100% stake in GasDistribution s.r.o., the operator of the gas distribution network in theSouth Bohemian Region and in parts of the Vysocina Region. Through itssubsidiary GasNet, CEZ is thus expanding its gas distribution networkand with the exception of Prague will now distribute gas throughout theCzech Republic. The gas distribution network plays a major role in thetransformation of the Czech district heating business and its transitionfrom coal-based energy to natural gas and subsequently to hydrogen.
