Centuria Board Appointment
SYDNEY (Tuesday, 28 November 2023) – Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI or “Centuria”) announces the appointment of Ms Joanne Dawson to the Centuria Board, effective today.
Ms Dawson joins the Centuria Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director as well as a member and Chair of the Group’s Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (ARCC).
Ms Dawson has experience in highly regulated, service businesses coupled with a long history of corporate transactions. She is presently a Non-Executive Director of PSC Insurance Group (ASX:PSI), Bank First, PetSure (Australia) and an Independent Trustee Director and Chair of the Investment Committee of Vision Super.
Her previous board experience includes Templeton Global Growth Fund Limited (ASX:TGG). She worked with Deloitte in both Australia and the USA in their Financial Services, Assurance and Advisory Division including as a consultant to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. She was also founder and CEO of Executive Wealth Strategies, is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration from RMIT.
Centuria Chairman, Garry Charny, welcomed the new Board member, stating, “After a comprehensive search, I am delighted to have Joanne join the Board. Her extensive experience not only as a director but in audit, property and financial services makes her a unique and welcome addition to the Centuria family.”
