CENIT AG (ISIN: DE0005407100) - Stuttgart, May 3rd, 2012 - Significant
increase in sales and EBIT compared to previous year

During the 1st quarter of 2012, CENIT Group posted total sales revenue of
29.1 m EUR (03/2011: 24.3 m EUR/20%) representing EBITDA of 2.3 m EUR
(03/2011: 1.4 m EUR/66%) and EBIT of 1.6 m EUR (03/2011: 0.9 m EUR/74%).
Earnings per share (EPS) attained 0.15 EUR (03/2011: 0.09 EUR/67%).

From today's view CENIT retains its annual growth forecast for 2012. A
review of the forecast will be made after the second quarter.
