PIRONET NDH has double-digit growth and pays dividend

Pironet NDH AG / Final Results

Announcement, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.

Cologne, 31 March, 2009: The provider of innovative solutions for the
creation, synchronization and distribution of digital content of any kind,
as well as for the optimization of internal and external business processes
has continued its positive growth for the sixth year in a row. With a
positive balance of 10.6% up to EUR59.6m, growth has once again remained in
double figures. The EBIT value increased by around 4,7% to EUR2.9m and this
occurred in spite of a 20% higher level of amortisation as a result of
large investments in previous years and also despite a significant rise in
marketing and distribution costs of 27.4% up to EUR12.3m. The
disproportionately low rise in operating results led the EBIT margin to
fall from 5.1% down to 4.8%. It is worth noting, however, that there has
been a significant improvement over the course of the year. The EBIT margin
rose from around 3.2% in the first six months to 6.1% in the second half of
the year.

Earnings before tax (EBT) conceded ground from EUR3.7m down to EUR3.5m
since the financial results fell from EUR1m to EUR0.6m. A rise in the tax
position of EUR0.4m to EUR0.6m and also a rise in the level of third-party
minority shareholding of EUR0.03m up to EUR0.2m led to year-end results of
EUR2.7m which were presented to shareholders (previous year: EUR3.3m).
Within the company this is a result per share of 18 cents (23 cents in the
previous year). Despite this fall in results, the General Meeting proposes
retaining the dividend of EUR0.10 per share. This can be justified, among
other things, by the high net liquid assets of EUR1.40 per share. PRIONET
NDH continues to work without any bank borrowing.

In the difficult year of 2009 PIRONET NDH still has a relatively optimistic
outlook. The industry sector of Information Technology, Telecommunications
and New Media is expecting growth of around 1.5% for the areas of Software
and IT Services. PIRONET NDH remains confident of growth above the market
average. As in 2008, the second half of the year can be expected to show
better results than the first six months. In a climate of falling
investment the attainment of an appropriate level of free cash flow has the
highest priority.
