Lemur Resources Withdraws Certain General Meeting Resolutions

Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), a diversified mineral development company with projects in Africa, advises of the announcement titled Withdrawal of Certain Resolutions in Notice of General Meeting which Lemur Resources ("Lemur") filed on the ASX today. Bushveld has a controlling 54.39% interest in Lemur.

Lemur advises that, following engagement with the Company's stakeholders including its largest shareholder, Bushveld, its Board has resolved to review the terms of the proposed performance shares and shares to certain directors. Lemur intends to table a revised set of proposals at the Company's Annual General Meeting, to be held prior to 31 May 2014.

Accordingly, resolutions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 contained in the Company's Notice of Meeting dated 16 January 2014 are withdrawn and will not be put to the meeting scheduled for 21 February 2014. Resolutions 6 and 7, regarding the award of ordinary shares in Lemur to the executive directors at Lemur, will still be put to the meeting scheduled for 21 February 2014.

Bushveld believes that, following consultation with the Company and minority shareholders in Lemur, the withdrawal of the aforementioned resolutions is merited. The decision to do so is in keeping with Bushveld's previously communicated interest to foster a collaborative relationship among all of Lemur's shareholders as it pursues its corporate objectives.
