Boliden signs a 40 MEUR loan with the Nordic Investment Bank

Boliden has entered into a 40 million Euro loan agreement with the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) that is connected to the on-going expansion of the Garpenberg zinc-silver mine. The loan is an eight year facility with repayments between 2017 and 2020.

"This is a part of Boliden's continuous work to improve the debt portfolio and we are pleased to continue our good cooperation with NIB." says Mikael Staffas, Boliden's CFO.

The average duration of Boliden's credit facilities after the transaction is 3.1 years.
