Emerson Stewart Secures Contract at Leinster

Emerson Stewart Group Limited (ASX: ESW) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract by BHP Billiton Nickel West at Leinster, in the northern goldfields of Western Australia.

Emerson Stewart will provide Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to BHP Billiton Nickel West for the upgrade of the Dry Mess facility established for mining operations personnel at the Leinster Nickel Operation.

The existing Dry Mess facility, which is at capacity, currently caters for fly in fly out personnel, serving over 2,850 meals each day. At the mine’s operational peak, the new Dry Mess will delivery more than 3,000 meals per day.

The Emerson Stewart contract value is estimated at $5 million and expected to be completed by mid 2009.

Emerson Stewart’s Managing Director Dario Amara said the contract confirmed the Company’s increasing market capabilities since listing on the ASX earlier this year.

“We are very happy to be working with Nickel West on the upgrade of its facilities at Leinster,” said Mr Amara.

“This contract further reflects our ability to provide quality services within the mining industry.”
