DIRECTOR DEALINGS

The Company has been informed that Basil Brookes, Non-Executive Director, and his wife today purchased 5,000 ordinary shares each in Benchmark at a price of 63.97p per share.

Following this transaction, Basil's beneficial interest in the Company, including his wife's holding of 5,000 ordinary shares, is 49,062 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.01 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
