Re: Board Appointment

A.G. BARR p.l.c., the branded soft drinks group, announces that David Ritchie will join the Board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2015.

David is a qualified CA, with a BA (Hons) Economics and Accounting degree from Reading University and is currently Chief Executive of Bovis Homes Group PLC (Bovis). He joined Bovis in 1998 from KPMG as Group Financial Controller becoming Group Finance Director in 2002 and Chief Executive in 2008.

No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to David Ritchie's appointment as a non-executive director of the Company.
